Tips
How to make a good GIF
- Short is better. GIF has no video-style compression, so every second adds a lot of size. 3 to 6 seconds is the sweet spot.
- Up to 12 seconds the GIF is 480 px wide at 15 fps. Longer parts are saved at 360 px and 12 fps so the file stays shareable.
- The color palette is built from your clip, so colors stay vivid and gradients smooth.
- Need sound? Pick MP4. Discord, WhatsApp and Messenger play short MP4s just as smoothly as GIFs.

FAQ
Common questions
How long can a GIF be?
Up to 30 seconds. Longer GIFs weigh tens of megabytes and most apps reject them.
Why is the GIF bigger than the video?
GIF is an old format that stores every frame separately. That is why short moments work best.
Do you add a watermark?
No. The GIF is yours, with no text or logo.
